Question about prostate cancer?
Does prostate cancer itself cause involuntary weight loss or is this a consequence of the treatment?
If any one knows and could point out a good site that discusses this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.

My boyfriend just told me his dad may have prostate cancer.
Is there any chance he could have it too?
I noticed after doing prostate stimulation that I am having a bit trouble starting to urinate and sometimes I dribble. Being a worrier / hypochondriac, I’m worrying about prostate cancer especially because of the stimulation. What do you think is going on?
I mean, you hear about breast cancer all the time, people trying to raise money and awareness, which I think is great. But you never hear about prostate cancer. Why is that?
I have been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer and this is my hormone therapy drug.

This is a once every three months shot, to be taken no more than three times.
Along with this shot, I must take 500mg calcium and 1000mg of vitiman D. It seems that with more than three shots, brittle bones occur.
can kids under 18 get prostate cancer?
My Dad has prostate cancer, that said it was at a stage 8 and he has been taking hormone shots for several months and now they say its at level 0. In may they want to start radiation. Will this get rid of the cancer or will it come back? The doctors say it will get rid of it but it seems they always tell people that no matter what. What is the survival rate?
My dad was just diagnosed with stage 7 prostate cancer this weekend. I would like for some people to reply with comfort, success stories, tragic stories, etc. Please broaden my horizon of thinking that there’s only one way out of this.
I’m only 19 years old and he’s 51. He still has two little girls to graduate high school and I’m frightened that he won’t be around. Please offer stories and/or comfort.
I recently heard that there is some kind of connection between prostate cancer and masturbating. The study showed that men who masturbated frequently in their 20s and 30s had more of a chance of getting Prostate cancer.
Is any of this true?
Is there any concern here as far as that goes with the masturbating and the increased risk of Prostate Cancer?
My brother is 54 yrs old and was just diagnosed with prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 5. His PSA was 4.25. The biopsy showed that he only had traces of cancer on the right side of his prostate and it was limited to that area. He is in excellent health and very active, and has not shown any signs of any urinary problems.
He is considering the treatment option of "watchful waiting". What are your thoughts on this vs possibly robotic surgery? Some doctors prefer surgery when the patient is this young. Thanks for your inputs on this.
