My wife and I decided that we wanted to support the "Light the Night" walk, which is to raise money for Leukemia research…

This is extremely important to us, expecially my wife – because her mother passed away from Leukemia when my wife was only 2 years old.

My question is, in your opinion, how should we go about asking people and local businesses for donations and their support by joining the team?

Here is a short URL for more info about Light the Night:

I’ve been told that Ovarian Cancer is to a woman as Prostate Cancer is to a man. If that is true, then I think that my health insurance company is guilty of discrimination. But I am not an authority that can make that judgement. I am wondering if it would be worth my time to start a lawsuit against any big health insurance company for this issue. I do not have the money for something like that and would need a really good attorney that would be willing to do this for free. Any suggestions? (PS. I’ve been having pains in the lower groin area and no doctor that I’ve been to has said anything about O.C. except one that said the test is not covered. I think it is the CA-125 test.)

My best friend is 13 years old, she was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I wanted some ideas on how I should raise money for her, but I don’t think I’m going to start just yet. I was thinking about putting a jar in a few of the convenience stores around here, but I don’t know exactly what kind of information I should provide on it. Any suggestions?

I’ve never understood how shaving your head or dying your hair helps people with leukemia. Can somebody please explain it to me with details of how exactly it helps them. If it raises money then how much does it raise and how?

My friend (26 yrs.old) was just recently diagnosed with Leukemia. They caught it very early, so it is treatable with chemotherapy. She’s spending the holidays in the hospital and going through a very difficult time. I want to send her something to let her know she’s on my mind, but I don’t have a lot of money to spend. Any ideas on what might be a comfort to her or cheer her up?

I don’t understand why a lot of people consider breast cancer of higher importance than prostate cancer. A lot of scientific research done is spent on breast cancer, girls are being immunised in high schools in the uk to protect them from cancer, whereas boys get nothing. A lot of money is going into treatment of cancer for females than males why?
