Do you think it really can treat cancer? I heard that doctors can’t even detect cancer unless it multiplies to billions of cells.
Chemotherapy is just a poison in my opinion. They use people as guinea pigs: If its successful then awesome! If you die, too bad so sad on to the next patient-lets suck some money out!
What is your opinion on it, and whY??
My father died from lung cancer in 2001, and since then I have been trying to understand it. No, I have not personally had cancer, but it was close enough to watch him die at home because he went from 200lbs down to 80lbs and looked like an 10yr old kid in a matter of 8 months. If your body or immune system cannot handle it, you die sooner than you would from the cancer.
And of course doctors show concern for your health and welfare–they’re making $$$$ off of you so they have to do that. Just one shot used to cost 00 !
I’m sorry if I offended anybody who has/had cancer, that was not my intention. Maybe I’m just being very naive about the whole thing, but I’m 23 years old, and I had to lose my dad (he was 43) just 10 days after I turned 17 and I still happen to be very hurt and pissed off about it. I basically let it go for a long time and just accepted it as it was, but I recently asked my mom to dig up all the info from the doctors & hospital from back then because I never got to read any of it. Maybe I didn’t want to..or they didn’t let me? But honestly I don’t think I would choose chemo if I found out I had cancer. Watching what my dad went through and all the side effects was just not worth it, only for him to think he would get better because the doctors encouraged him, and yet he died after just 7months of the treatments.

My mom’s friend went out last night after her last shot of Chemotheraly for her "breast cancer". She drank (to celebrate) about 11 mixed drinks ( rum and coke). Of course she was out of it last night (falling over, can’t think straight, etc.). When my mom called her this morning to check on her she was not talking or breathing right. Mom mom said she couldn’t understand what she was saying because she was mumbeling stuff and breathing really weird. Should we call an ambulance to her house. Now rememebr she just a a chemotherapy shot before she got drunk….what should we do…we can’t go over there (no car)
okay now she is saying she took 4 orange pills when she got home last night. She says she doesn’t know what they were. My mom’s friend is going to check on her and call her DR. thanks for your answers.

My mom had a breast cancer and had to remove her left breast. About 8-10 years later we got to know that she had leukemia. Are the diseases hereditary, or will i just have a greater risk of contracting them?

my mother has colon cancer and was treated for five weeks with chemotherapy capsules. She finished her five week treatment and discovered that her cancer spread to her liver. She is off treatment for a month and will start her iv chemotherapy in a month. I heard that there is something called "Titano" en Mexico that allows her to have a spot for her injection to go in without them having to poke her and stuff. Any idea what it can be ? What is the best hospital we can attend in L.A that accept medical. Harbor UCLA is not working for us atm the app. dates are to far from each other i feel like we are letting time pass by (btw i have the iv question because my mom goes through pain everytime they inject her because they cant find her vains) thank you.

Maybe it has something to do with smoking and breast cancer? I’m concerned because my mom had breast cancer in the past, and she picked up smoking again. Links would be helpful too. Thank you!

My father had lung cancer and he lasted over ten years. My mom was just diagnosed with lung cancer in the right lung and they say its not curable.

My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy a few weeks ago, and the doctor just told her she has to have 2 "rounds" of chemotherapy. What does a round of chemotherapy usually consist of? Also, since our family has never been through this before, can you tell me what to expect with the chemo? How badly will she be feeling? How soon will she lose her hair? Any info you have would be appreciated. Thank you!
