I am 16 years old and i just made through leukemia the last couple of months and im not sure if my future son or daughter may have it. My doctors said they wont, but im still curious.
If there is another great doctor out there that can answer my question. Please i need a answer!

My grandfather is at stage 4 of his lung cancer and it metastasized in his spine. My friend is suffering from leukemia, anybody can advise ,how can he lead long life , is it possible for him to live a longer life than the doctors told , any medication plz advise, or any body can provide free medical facility like operation .Plz advise

I’ve heard a lot of people talk about how cancer can be completely avoided by not only not smoking, or drinking.. But by eating healthy foods free from toxins or artificial steroids and stimulants and such.
Breast cancer runs in my family… And my poor aunt’s last year of her life once cancer had been diagnosed was miserable because of constant chemotherapy that made her nothing but even MORE sick.
It didn’t help her a bit, and neither did the operations. When my grandmother had breast cancer before that, there had been a lot of speculation that when the doctors did the biopsy in the first place, the cutting of those cancer cells is what allowed it to spread throughout her blood stream and quickly to her brain and what caused her to die of brain cancer when she was originally diagnosed with breast cancer only.

After seeing my loved ones stricken down with this, and knowing that MORE women in my family face the same threat.. I don’t really trust chemotherapy and surgeries to cure cancer, and I want to know what I can do, and what I can admonish THEM to do to help relieve our risk, and God forbid.. If anyone else comes down with it to possibly cure them instead of make the last year and a half of their lives miserable like my poor grandmother and aunt.

Do you know of anyone who has been cured of cancer either through holistic treatments? Or are you sure and adamant that the USA’s current standard of chemotherapy and surgery is still the best way?

Also.. As a bonus question: If you do think that holistic treatments are better, then why, in your opinion, are they considered "illegal" to market as treatment here in the USA?

Do you think it really can treat cancer? I heard that doctors can’t even detect cancer unless it multiplies to billions of cells.
Chemotherapy is just a poison in my opinion. They use people as guinea pigs: If its successful then awesome! If you die, too bad so sad on to the next patient-lets suck some money out!
What is your opinion on it, and whY??
My father died from lung cancer in 2001, and since then I have been trying to understand it. No, I have not personally had cancer, but it was close enough to watch him die at home because he went from 200lbs down to 80lbs and looked like an 10yr old kid in a matter of 8 months. If your body or immune system cannot handle it, you die sooner than you would from the cancer.
And of course doctors show concern for your health and welfare–they’re making $$$$ off of you so they have to do that. Just one shot used to cost 00 !
I’m sorry if I offended anybody who has/had cancer, that was not my intention. Maybe I’m just being very naive about the whole thing, but I’m 23 years old, and I had to lose my dad (he was 43) just 10 days after I turned 17 and I still happen to be very hurt and pissed off about it. I basically let it go for a long time and just accepted it as it was, but I recently asked my mom to dig up all the info from the doctors & hospital from back then because I never got to read any of it. Maybe I didn’t want to..or they didn’t let me? But honestly I don’t think I would choose chemo if I found out I had cancer. Watching what my dad went through and all the side effects was just not worth it, only for him to think he would get better because the doctors encouraged him, and yet he died after just 7months of the treatments.

or complimentary medicines or things that they can do to cure themself of cancer. Or what doctors should they go to to get help with something else other than the chemotherapy to help cure them of the cancer? thanks

i was recently diagonsed with acute leukemia and im almost 16 years old. i wasnt paying attention when the doctors told me about it because i have been in shock. any info would be awesome. i have already done internet searches but i want your opinion. i need something more personal than internet robots spittin gout answers. please answer this ? i hould greatly appreciate it.

For a week I’ve been feeling no
Energy and weak. Even if I sleep 7-8 hours I’m exhausted. I browsed other questions and someone said their doctor thinks it’s anemia or leukemia. I’m freaking out I’m so worried I couldn’t sleep last night. I had it right before my period. Is it anemia or leukemia I’m trying to make appointments but clinics are busy and doctors are booked please help!!

I think i have leukemia!… I have all the symptoms of leukemia… like tiredness, bruising really bad and quickly, losing weight for no reason, bad headache that has not gone away for 4 days, sweating really bad all the time and aching… i don’t feel myself at all… feel ill all the time.. can anyone help me please?
I don’t want to go to the doctors because it might be nothing and i would look silly.
