I’m a 13 year old healthy girl until I figured out that I might have cancer…I keep getting these severe pains in my legs. It made cried before too! Umm… My grandpa had died of blood cancer and I’m wondering if these two diseases are related. The only kind symptoms I get that’s related to leukemia is tiredness and pains in my bones and joints… Please HELP!! O_o

I have hypothyroidism, diabetes, depression, liver disease, add, etc. etc, what i’m getting at is if they have done enough blood to detect those diseases, then they would know for sure that I don’t have leukemia, right?

I am a middle school teacher and my 6th graders are doing research papers on diseases and medical conditions..one of my students is researching Leukemia and would like to interview someone who’s has actually experienced this disease. If you would be willing to answer a few questions, please send me your email address…my student will email you a 5-8 questions survey to answer. We really appreciate it! Thanks much!

My mom had a breast cancer and had to remove her left breast. About 8-10 years later we got to know that she had leukemia. Are the diseases hereditary, or will i just have a greater risk of contracting them?

I have looked all over the internet for this information. I know the likelihood of these diseases are increased in smokers, but where can I find the real numbers?

My grandfather has been smoking since he was 15, and is now 61. Lately, he’s been coughing a lot, and losing his voice.
He smokes about two packs a day.
How long does it take lung cancer, or other diseases, to form?
And are these signs of anything?

So, why do they focus so much in those pink ribbons and breast cancer when the other diseases kill more women? I just think all these cancer awareness is just full of it. The are just looking for cure but not prevention when we know cancer is 5-10% passed in our genes the rest is natural cause.

And we know our foods have something to do.
