From what I understand, the blood cancer called "Leukemia" is deadly because white blood cells eat the red blood cells and there comes a point where there is too many. The immune system attacking illness called "AIDS" also affects the white blood cell count by reducing them.

My question is if someone with Leukemia was given AIDS, would it balance out and cure them? I thought maybe I could give my sister AIDS and then her cancer would go away.

My grandfather is currently undergoing chemotherapy for Lung Cancer and we are trying to do everything possible to help him feel comfortable. He often speaks about loss of energy and loss of appetite. My family and I have been trying to incorporate some natural supplements into the little amount of food that he does eat so that he can try to remedy the issues he is dealing with. So far Noni Juice has been a success, but we are on the lookout for more. Can anyone suggest some other options? Those that can be incorporated in smoothies and soups are ideal, because these are the foods he enjoys most. Thank you!

5-Fluoro-uracil (5-FU) is a drug commonly used in chemotherapy treatment of cancer. Cancer cells are usually very fast growing cells; other cells in your body, which are also fast growing, are bone marrow cells (which produce red and white blood cells) and hair follicle cells (which produce hair). Suggest why 5-FU can be a good treatment for cancer. Also, describe why 5-FU has side effects of low blood counts and hair loss.
